Bringing Original Works from Page to Stage

2013 Canton One Acts Festival

The Canton One Acts Festival is staged every other year by TLC Productions, made up Tim Chanko, Linda Pohl and Christopher Tremblay, all of Canton. As playwrights, they looked for other venues to submit their one-act musicals, but none were found with any nearby groups organizing any competitions or festivals.

However, afforded the opportunity to present their new works at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, they wanted to provide a process, venue and event to showcase other emerging playwrights of plays, as well as to aspiring directors. With support from The  Partnership for the Arts and Humanities, the Canton One Acts Festival is now a theatrical tradition in Canton at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill.
